We’re really pleased to welcome 2 new members to the growing Dorset Creative team – Nick Foster and Alex Crisp.
With a wealth of experience in managing large scale projects, Nick has been brought onboard to seamlessly guide clients through the project process right from initial specifications to the finished product.
Nick’s NHS telecomms background and cross-sector experience is a valuable asset to us and we feel he fits perfectly as our Technical Project Manager.
Alex also has an NHS background; having worked for 8 years in communications she brings with her sound knowledge and expertise in all things social media, PR and engagement.
In her role as Operations Support, Alex is responsible for supporting our team in the areas of marketing, web and projects to provide the highest level of customer service to our clients.
To get to know them better we thought we would ask a few random questions!
Would you rather go without junk food for a year or go without TV for a year?
Nick: Junk Food for a year! TV keeps me alive! 😉
If you had intro music, what song would it be? Why?
Nick: 24 karat magic by Bruno Mars – because it’s funky
Which emerging technology are you most excited about?
Nick: It may sound very boring and nerdy, but I’m actually quite excited about developments in battery technology (lithium-air replacing lithium-ion). The reason is that the newer technology increases battery capacity by around 100 times. This means batteries in devices like mobile phones can get smaller or for the same size provide far greater battery life.
What is the one thing you cannot resist?
Alex: Crisps! Crisp by surname, snack lover by nature.
Where is the most beautiful place near where you live?
Alex: That’s a difficult one as we are totally spoilt in Dorset but I love Arne nature reserve near Wareham. It has it all with countryside, heathland and the sea with loads of wildlife to spot – my favourite being the deer.
What apps have changed your life a lot?
Alex: MyFitnessPal has been an eye opener in terms of logging my diet when I became intolerant to wheat – the app is so easy to use and you can look at so many nutritional values too. IMDB movie app really has a big influence, I can’t justify watching anything with a low score on there!
Growth and demand for our creative services means it’s an exciting time here at Dorset Creative and we feel fully ‘nested’ in our office at the Eagle Labs Bournemouth. Dorset is one of the hottest and fastest growing digital hubs in Europe and we as a company, continue to proudly offer a personal and bespoke service to clients old and new.
We hope you join us in officially welcoming Nick and Alex to our team and we all look forward to working with you.
